These partially handmade candies are named after a national musical instrument – the kannel – which is sacred for Estonians. Manufactured since the mid-1970s, the legendary Kannel chocolates contain a mouth-watering almond praline that melts in your mouth, and which is covered in a thick glaze of real chocolate. The final touch – its light brown velvety appearance – is achieved by rolling the candy in cocoa mixed with sugar.
