The Kama bar of Kalev can be considered Estonian national sweet – it is unique in the entire world. Kalev brought the Kama chocolate to the market in the 1960s. Its production increased extensively during the world cocoa crisis at the end of the 1970s after which manufacturing of the Kama bar faded away for almost twenty years. In August 2001, Kalev started manufacturing of the legendary Kama chocolate again, now under the name of Kama bar. Now it unexpectedly became very popular were very happy to recognise flavours of their childhood. The Kama bar does not contain hydrogenated vegetable fat or preservatives.
